Fabric by Mail

Just a little fabric postcard I made with some leftovers from my Shop Hop Wallflower quilt.

I foundation pieced it with some batting, then did some topstitching to “quilt” the postcard. The green lace is from J. Caroline Creative and has been hanging out in my stash maybe two years.

I sewed it to a postcard Sarah gave out in the Shop Hop goodie bags, then used the pinking blade on my rotary cutter to trim it all up.

It’s so cute, I’m thinking I should organize a fabric postcard swap …

  1. I am always amazed at what goes through the mail. My neice sent my mother an Abbazaba bar and some other things (things not cardboard) and they went through.
Your card is delightful. Have you tried mailing it back to yourself?

  2. That is ADORABLE! I love it! Can you actually send it like a postcard? I’d be worried about it getting dirty. And where did you get that lace? It’s so pretty!

  3. Sooo cute! What made you think of it? I’ve never seen a fabric postcard before. Will you save it or use it? It’s almost too pretty to send. 🙂
