I’ve started this post in my head so many times in the past year but nothing ever sounded right. Too flippant, too dramatic, too not me. And now that I finally can write it, share it, shout it from the rooftops, I find that a picture is truly worth 1,000 words — or maybe closer to 23,000 words:

It has been so hard not to talk about this. Writing a book has been a dream of mine since childhood; seeing that dream come to life over the past year is like nothing I’ve ever experienced. And I can’t wait to share it with all of you in just a few, short months.
Thank you for tolerating my sporadic blogging, my absence from your blogs and the sometimes annoying hints about The Project. I hope you’ll think it was worth it all.
